Abstract Submission Information
During abstract submission you have the option to select one of two special sessions. Five further special sessions have been proposed but not yet scheduled, as their topics overlap with each other or with typical MetSoc sessions. Should you have a preference for one of these further proposed special sessions, please indicate this in the additional form during abstract submission, which will influence which special sessions will be scheduled for MetSoc
All information on the special sessions can be found on the Special Sessions page.
Abstracts on any aspect of meteoritics and planetary science are welcome and should be submitted
using the instructions below. First authors are limited to two submissions, but only one will be
considered for oral presentation.
Abstracts will be published in electronic format as a supplement to Meteoritics & Planetary Science.
Contributors will be asked to choose a primary (required) and secondary (optional) topic from the
following list:
Abstract deadline: May 5, 2026, 11:59 p.m. U.S. CDT
Abstract Revisions (before the deadline)
If you need to replace your abstract file or correct the information submitted on the form, return to the
