Presenter instructions for the 88th Annual Meeting of the Meteoritical Society in Frankfurt am Main
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are 15 minutes, with 12 minutes for your talk and 3 minutes for discussions (›12+3‹).
Oral session rooms will be equipped with Windows hardware and software only. No Mac hardware or software will be used in the session rooms. Presenters will not be allowed to use their own laptops. Please send your presentation file via email ([email protected]) at least one day before your talk. This is mandatory for all speakers in the Monday morning sessions.
We ask that you send your presentation file via email, as this is the easiest option. The email subject should be: ›MetSoc oral presentation <your name>‹. You will receive a confirmation email that your presentation has been received and stored in our system. If you did not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please send us another email without your presentation, as maybe there was an issue with the presentation file going through.
Alternatively, for example if your presentation is large because it contains a video, you can upload your presentation using the computer in the speaker ready room or directly to the lecture hall computers during coffee breaks via a USB drive. Please use this option at least one day before your talk.

Poster Presentations
All poster presentations need to be in portrait A0 format (height: 118.9 cm and width: 84.1 cm). Each poster is pinned to a single board using pins, which will be provided. The poster boards will be sorted by topic and identifiers will be added to each board so authors know where to hang their posters.
The poster boards will be available throughout the week. Posters for the Tuesday evening session can be put up starting Monday. Any poster not removed from a poster board by noon on Wednesday will be taken down and discarded. Posters for the Thursday evening session can be put up starting Wednesday afternoon. Any poster not removed from a poster board by noon on Friday will be taken down and discarded.
Should you have any particular needs for your presentation, contact the organizers as soon as possible at: [email protected].
